FIVB named Gdańsk, Katowice, Łódź, Olsztyn and Kraków as host cities for the 2027 men's world championship in Poland. The announcement allocated the semifinals and medal matches to Kraków, spreading earlier tournament activity across other established volleyball centres.

The competition will feature thirty-two national teams and marks Poland's third time hosting the men's event, following 2014 and the 2022 edition shared with Slovenia. Venues include Kraków's TAURON Arena, Gdańsk's ERGO ARENA and Katowice's Spodek.

Łódź's Atlas Arena has previously hosted men's and women's VNL finals, while Olsztyn's Urania Hall reopened after a major renovation in 2023. The city's upgraded venue subsequently welcomed a Poland–Iran friendly, adding another international setting to the announced host network.
