Flint Town United reached the Welsh Cup final for the first time in seventy-two years by defeating Bangor City 1876 5-1 in Llandudno. Lee Fowler's team took control with three first-half goals and maintained its attacking momentum to secure a return to the competition's deciding match.
Darren Stephenson opened the scoring after five minutes, before Elliot Reeves headed home Ben Woollam's cross. Reeves added a second goal in the thirty-fifth minute after a move involving Ben Hughes and Stephenson, giving Flint a commanding advantage at the interval.
Michael Burke and Woollam scored after the break, while Adam Long supplied a late consolation for Bangor. The victory kept Flint in contention to repeat its only previous cup triumph from 1953/54. The final was scheduled for Rodney Parade on April 12.
