The CEV added four former international referees to its Referee Coaches group. Benoît Horcholle, Onur Hosnut, Susana Maria Rodriguez Jativa and Philippe Schürmann will continue their involvement in European volleyball by supporting the development and guidance of other officials.

The European Refereeing Commission held a webinar with the selected coaches to explain its vision and expectations. The discussion covered the guidance they will provide to candidates attending the international referee course scheduled for May in Vichy, France.

The appointments extend the commission’s policy of building a larger pool of experienced mentors across European competitions. The federation highlighted the group’s high-level officiating experience and their role in improving standards, connecting practical training with the continued professional development of referees.
