Four home players reach Indian Open semifinals after Mumbai quarterfinals
Tanvi Khanna earned her first World-level semifinal by upsetting Ainaa Amani.

Anahat Singh, Abhay Singh, Veer Chotrani and Tanvi Khanna advanced to the JSW Indian Open semifinals. Khanna defeated fourth seed Ainaa Amani 3–1 in thirty-five minutes to reach a World-level semifinal for the first time at the Cricket Club of India.
Anahat beat Sehveetrraa Kumar 11–2, 11–6, 11–4 in nineteen minutes, while Chotrani defeated Mohamed Sharaf in three games. Abhay needed fifty minutes to overcome Yassin Shohdy 3–1, pulling away from 7–7 in the fourth to complete the home quartet.
Hana Moataz survived a five-game match against Yasshmita Jadishkumar after trailing 6–3 in the decider, winning eight of the final ten points. The quarterfinal programme began on traditional courts before moving to the outdoor glass court on the cricket ground’s outfield.
