France sweeps Sjusjøen mixed relay races

Austria finished second in both IBU Cup formats, with Germany and Sweden taking thirds.

France won both mixed relay events at the IBU Cup in Sjusjøen. Damien Levet, Gaetan Paturel, Voldiya Galmace-Paulin and Jeanne Richard completed the four-athlete race in 1:07:56.6, avoiding penalty loops while using spare ammunition. Austria finished second, 14.7 seconds behind, and Germany took third.

The single mixed relay remained close into its final leg, with Austria leading at the preceding exchange. Amandine Mengin’s fast final shooting visit helped France move clear, and she then outskied Dunja Zdouc to secure another victory.

Mengin and Théo Guiraud-Poillot won in 41:07.5 with four spare rounds. Austria’s Lukas Haslinger and Zdouc finished 20.9 seconds behind with seven reloads. Sweden’s Oskar Andersson and Sara Andersson completed the podium despite two penalty loops.
