Franke wins FIBA Europe Cup’s January MVP award

Yannick Franke received the FIBA Europe Cup Player of the Month award for January. He averaged 23.5 points, six rebounds and four assists as Aliaga Petkimspor recorded two victories during the month.
The Dutch guard scored 29 points on nine-of-eleven shooting in an 82–61 win over Peristeri, adding six rebounds and six assists. He followed with 18 points, six rebounds and three steals in the 82–70 victory against Dinamo Sassari.
Franke made nine of his fifteen three-point attempts across the two games and averaged an efficiency rating of 31. The award recognised that completed January performance as Petkimspor pursued a quarter-final place; the nomination itself did not confirm qualification.
