Fredericia makes first European knockout stage as final League places are decided
Kristianstad and Nexe also qualified, while Porto and Vardar secured direct quarter-final berths.

Fredericia reached a European competition knockout stage for the first time by defeating Kadetten Schaffhausen 30–29. The final men's European League main round also confirmed play-off places for Kristianstad and Nexe, completing the field for the next phase.
Anders Martinusen scored ten goals for Fredericia in the direct qualification contest. Kristianstad beat Benfica 30–22, supported by sixteen saves from Hayder Al-Khafadji, while Nexe overcame Group IV winner Hannover-Burgdorf 26–23.
Porto edged Aarhus 30–29 to secure a direct quarter-final place, and Vardar earned the same reward with a 34–25 win at Melsungen. Kiel maintained its perfect competition record by beating defending champion Flensburg 36–29, with Montpellier also victorious in the round's remaining group.
