Freeman-Liberty ruled out for Brisbane’s season remainder
The guard’s hamstring injury extended the Bullets’ major absence list.
Source publication date:
Brisbane ruled Javon Freeman-Liberty out for the remainder of its NBL season because of a hamstring injury. The guard had played nine games and sustained the problem during the Round 15 defeat by Perth, adding to the Bullets’ extensive injury difficulties.
Casey Prather and Lamar Patterson were already unavailable for the season. Dakota Mathias, Sam McDaniel and Tyrell Harrison were also sidelined, while Terry Taylor’s suspension prevented him from facing Tasmania in the next fixture.
The club confirmed that Alex Ducas would return for that Round 20 visit to MyState Bank Arena. Interim coach Darryl McDonald therefore received one additional option, but the loss of Freeman-Liberty further reduced the depth available as Brisbane attempted to complete its regular-season schedule.
