The Freeride World Tour cancelled the Georgia Pro competition that had been relocated to Kühtai near Innsbruck. Organisers announced the decision on the intended competition day after assessing conditions at the Austrian replacement venue, despite the preparation work already undertaken there.

The tour said the conditions would not permit a competition offering equal opportunity to every athlete while satisfying the safety standards required for its professional events. The decision therefore stopped the planned races rather than producing a result from the replacement stop.

Organisers thanked the Georgia, Kühtai and Innsbruck teams and the staff involved in preparing the competition. Their announcement identified athlete safety, suitable performance conditions and fair treatment across the field as the reasons for cancellation.
