The Freeride World Tour confirmed that its cancelled Georgia Pro would be restaged at Kühtai near Innsbruck on 27 February. The replacement was intended to preserve athletes’ opportunity to earn the points allocated to the original stop before the season’s qualification cut.

Schöffi’s Face was selected as a new competition venue for the entire field. It starts at 2,678 metres and has a 455-metre vertical drop, with a steep upper section followed by more open terrain lower down.

The announcement acknowledged a high avalanche danger rating in Tyrol. Organisers said preventive work, monitoring and cooperation with certified mountain guides allowed the selected face to meet the tour’s safety requirements. The planned programme included men’s and women’s ski and snowboard competitions.
