FTC and Gloria Bistrita win away in women's Champions League play-offs
The Hungarian side built a six goal advantage, while Bistrita recovered from a five goal half-time deficit at Ikast.

FTC and Gloria Bistrita completed the opening women's Champions League play-off weekend with away victories. FTC defeated Borussia Dortmund 31–25, while Bistrita overturned a difficult first half to edge Ikast 35–34, leaving every home team without a win.
Petra Simon scored eight goals for FTC, which broke clear in the final ten minutes after Dortmund had levelled during the second half. Late saves from Laura Glauser helped protect the Hungarian club's six goal advantage.
Bistrita trailed 21–16 at the interval but recovered through stronger defending and fourteen saves from Renata de Arruda. Danila So Delgado scored eleven before receiving a red card, and the Romanian side completed the turnaround despite playing the closing minutes without its leading scorer.
