Anna Fuchs and Neo Holzknecht recorded the fastest girls’ and boys’ times at the FIL Youth Games in Umhausen. Both represented RC Kühtai-Sellraintal, with Fuchs completing two runs in 2:41.72 and Holzknecht recording 2:42.94.

Fifty-five young athletes aged eight to fourteen attended from Austria, Italy, Germany and Slovenia. Their racing took place on the Grantau track, where youth runs alternated with those of the senior World Cup competitors during the Sunday programme.

The thirty-sixth edition was the first Youth Games held together with the Alpine Luge World Cup. Young competitors joined the international athletes for the opening ceremony in the village before moving onto the same racing venue for their own age-group competition.
