Singapore triple jumper Gabriel Lee described how he combines university studies with international athletics following his Southeast Asian Games breakthrough. His 16.09m jump in December earned bronze on his Games debut and broke a national record that had stood for sixteen years.
The twenty-three-year-old studies computer engineering at the National University of Singapore. He also represents his university in the long jump and 4x100m relay, fitting gym and track sessions around lectures and assignments.
