Miro Ganxets Costa Daurada won 3–0 away against Dr Casl in the opening women’s Europe Cup quarterfinal leg. The Spanish club established a clear advantage in Croatia before the scheduled Saturday return, taking all three matches despite a close second encounter.
Olga Vorobeva defeated Liu Jiaqi in four games to begin the tie. Guo Ruichen then overcame Ni Xia Lian in five games, winning the shortened decider 6–4 after the veteran forced the match level.
Andrea Todorovic completed the sweep with a four-game victory over Szandra Pergel. Her adjustments in service and return helped contain Pergel’s strong delivery, leaving Ganxets with a substantial lead to defend when the teams met again in Spain.
