Girls' U17 World Championship draw sets four pools for Santiago
Twenty-four teams will contest Chile's first volleyball world championship.

FIVB confirmed four groups of six teams for the Girls' U17 World Championship following the draw at its Lausanne headquarters. Santiago, Chile, was selected to stage the competition from 6 to 16 August, with twenty-four national teams in the field.
Hosts Chile joined Türkiye, Egypt, the United States, Thailand and Czechia in Pool A. Defending champions China headed Pool B with Peru, Mexico, Venezuela, Tunisia and the Philippines; Japan and Brazil were among the teams placed in Pool C.
Italy and Chinese Taipei entered Pool D alongside Puerto Rico, Korea, the Dominican Republic and Algeria. Each team will play five pool matches, with the leading four from every group advancing to the last sixteen and the subsequent knockout rounds.
