Grezzani’s European barebow title marks rapid progression
The 16-year-old Italian reached senior continental gold after a short competitive career.
Source publication date:
World Archery profiled Linda Grezzani following her European indoor barebow victory in Plovdiv. The 16-year-old defeated Cinzia Noziglia in a shoot-off at the Kolodruma arena to secure the title.
Grezzani had taken up archery roughly 18 months earlier with Gli Arcieri Bresciani. Her first competition came in September 2024. She subsequently won under-21 indoor gold in Samsun in February 2025 and an under-21 field title later that year.
Her Plovdiv route included victories over Pasquet, Pauliukaite and Topliceanu before the final. The March feature examined that progression from club training to international success. The earlier youth results supplied background to the profile, rather than representing competitions newly held in March 2026.
