Daniel Gruber won his first Alpine Luge World Cup overall title after finishing fifth in the Jaufental finale. His 580-point total kept him ahead of Fabian Achenrainer on 530, with Hannes Unterholzner third in the final standings on 424.

Unterholzner won the final men’s race in 1:43.90, ahead of Matthias Lambacher and Alex Oberhofer, completing an Italian podium sweep. Gruber and Achenrainer both struggled to find their best performances during heavy snowfall and soft ice conditions.

Nina Castiglioni earned her first senior World Cup victory in women’s singles, finishing ahead of sister Jenny and Nadine Staffler. Riccarda Ruetz received the women’s overall globe after securing the title earlier, ending the season with 610 points.
