Poole Town defeated Hungerford Town 3–1 to remain third in the Southern League Premier South table. Shaquille Gwengwe scored twice, reaching thirty league goals for the season, before Harvey Slade added a powerful long-range finish.

Gwengwe opened the scoring in the 28th minute from Dan Carr's pass. He doubled the lead after halftime by heading Antonio Diaz's delivery, helping Poole respond after a brief period of pressure from the visitors.

Slade extended the advantage in the 64th minute with a shot into the top corner. Hungerford pulled one back through Bowdery, but Adam Parkes made an important late save and Poole completed the win to reach 55 points, two behind second-placed Gloucester.
