Hartlepool’s Youth Alliance welcomes three clubs
The grassroots partnership expands its links across the town.
Source publication date:
Hartlepool United's Hart of Our Club Youth Alliance welcomed three additional teams: Gretton Crest, Hartlepool Lake Youth and Hartlepool Stags Junior Football Club. They joined existing members in a partnership designed to rebuild links between the senior club and grassroots football.
The alliance began in August 2021 with a focus on community relationships and pathways for boys and girls. Its activities include ticket initiatives for young supporters, matchday ball-boy opportunities and coaching development support for grassroots staff.
Players also take part in community events, with the programme supporting future youth development work. Hartlepool said hundreds of tickets had been distributed through annual alliance and Her Game Too days, alongside the club's Play on the Pitch tournament.
