HK Kopavogur return to Iceland’s women’s throne after nine years

HK Kopavogur secured the 2026 Iceland women volleyball championship on 2026-04-22, defeating KA Akureyri 3-2 (22-25, 26-28, 25-22, 25-13, 15-9) in the title-clinching match at Kopavogur, Iceland.
All three finals matches were competitive, but HK won each and finished the series without a defeat. The result delivered the club’s sixth national title and first in nine years.
