England Squash, Scottish Squash and Squash Wales formed GB Squash to coordinate British preparations for the sport’s Olympic debut. The new body will manage selection, preparation and support for athletes representing Team GB at the Los Angeles Games in 2028.

Its structure brings the three home nations together for Olympic competition while preserving their separate governing responsibilities elsewhere. Recruitment for a chair and two independent committee members was expected to begin in the weeks following the announcement.

The formation followed publication of the Olympic qualification system, allowing players and federations to plan their routes toward the Games. Squash will offer sixteen-player men’s and women’s singles draws at Universal Studios during its first Olympic appearance.
