Hungary announces inaugural European TT Hopes games
Three venues around Lake Balaton will stage youth and para events during a June competition.

Hungary announced that the first Open European Games of TT Hopes would take place from 18–21 June across Veszprem, Balatonfured and Varpalota. The tournament forms part of the European Sports Region 2026 programme, with government and municipal support for the new youth table tennis event.
Competition will include Under 13 and Under 15 boys’ and girls’ singles and team categories, together with youth para events. Players will compete for prizes and ETTU ranking points, with 70 tables available across the three sports venues.
Singles will use group and knockout stages, while team play will follow a Davis Cup format. National associations, regional delegations and clubs can enter, with registration scheduled to close on 20 May.
