Hungary under-18s secure League A survival
Bence Rab scored twice in a 4-0 win over Wales.

Source publication date:
Hungary defeated Wales 4-0 in Vevey to finish second in its under-18 European qualifying group and retain League A status. Máté Gerliczki’s team completed the Swiss tournament with one win, one draw and one defeat, reaching its stated objective.
Bence Rab opened the scoring shortly before halftime. Zsombor Varga doubled the lead in the 71st minute, substitute Ádám Nyers added another five minutes later and Rab completed his brace in the 78th minute to establish the final score.
Varga captained Hungary with Ádám Zubor suspended, returning after his own absence against France. The convincing result meant Hungary did not need to rely on the other group match, which France won 3-2 against Switzerland to finish first.
