Hyderabad qualifier fields and route to the Women’s World Cup confirmed
Eight teams will contest at least three places in India during March.

FIH detailed the women’s World Cup qualifier in Hyderabad, where eight teams will compete from 8 to 14 March. The G.M.C.Balayogi ground will host the tournament, offering automatic qualification to the two finalists and the bronze-medal winner for the summer World Cup.
Austria, England, Italy and Korea form pool A. India, Scotland, Uruguay and Wales are in pool B. Each pool’s leading two teams progress to the semi-finals, scheduled for 13 March before the medal games on the following day.
An additional place is available to the higher-ranked fourth-place finisher across Hyderabad and the parallel Santiago qualifier. Nine countries had already qualified through hosting, continental events or the Pro League, with the remaining berths completing the sixteen-team field for Belgium and the Netherlands.
