IBU regional programme reports almost 2,500 participants
Youth and junior events reached the season’s midpoint across six regions.

The IBU reported that almost 2,500 youth and junior athletes had participated in regional events by the midpoint of the winter season. Competitions had taken place across six regions, with the federation confirming that scheduled events had proceeded as planned.
Northern Europe staged five events in Finland, Norway, Sweden and Latvia for more than seven hundred athletes. The Alpen Cup held three competitions in Slovenia, Austria and Germany, attracting over 750 participants, while Central European events involved more than 550.
Two North American events in the United States and Canada brought together over one hundred young competitors. The update documented the reach of the development circuit, which provides international racing opportunities below the senior World Cup level during the winter season.
