Illawarra closes season with 33-point win in Tasmania
Harvey, Peterson and McGee led the Hawks to a 103–70 victory.

Illawarra defeated Tasmania 103–70 at MyState Bank Arena to finish its NBL season with a commanding victory. The defending champion had already missed postseason qualification, while the injury-hit JackJumpers were assured of sixth place before the match.
Tyler Harvey scored 21 with six three-pointers, QJ Peterson added 20 and JaVale McGee supplied 15 points, ten rebounds and two blocks. Illawarra led 54–34 at half-time and extended the advantage to 30 after three quarters before completing the 33-point win.
Josh Bannan and Tyger Campbell each scored 17 for Tasmania, which shot 32 per cent overall and three of 24 from long range. The Hawks ended their title defence at 13–20, while Tasmania prepared for an elimination play-in fixture.
