Athletics Ireland announced a new television arrangement for its National Senior Indoor Championships, scheduled for 28 February and 1 March. Virgin Media Two would carry a two-hour Sunday broadcast from 2:30pm to 4:30pm, providing the championships with their first coverage on the channel.

The competition at the Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena would also be streamed in full on YouTube across both days. The federation presented the television window as an opportunity to bring leading Irish athletes to a wider audience.

Sunday spectator tickets were reported sold out in the announcement. The coverage plans accompanied a championship programme featuring Irish national champions and international competitors, with television and online options serving audiences unable to attend in person.
