Ran Binyamin scored the only goal in Felcsút.

Source publication date:
Israel defeated Hungary 1-0 in an under-21 friendly at Felcsút as Antal Németh began his match programme with the team. The fixture provided a rehearsal for Hungary’s European qualifier against Ukraine, with the new coach assessing players he had previously worked with across youth categories.
Ran Binyamin scored in the 34th minute after Noam Ben Harush’s pass into the centre. Hungary improved after halftime, but captain Máté Tuboly hit the crossbar with a free kick and goalkeeper Ofek Melika saved several further attempts.
Ármin Pécsi also made important saves for Hungary, keeping the deficit to one goal. Németh said the second-half structural change improved the performance and provided a basis for further work before the Ukrainian fixture, while regretting the missed chances that prevented an equaliser.
