Italy submit improved Para recurve mixed-team record

Elisabetta Mijno and Stefano Travisani combined for 1310 points in Para recurve mixed-team qualification in Rome on 28 April. The Italian pair’s total covered 144 arrows at 70 metres and exceeded the existing world-record score.

The previous benchmark was 1297, set by China’s Zhao Lixue and Wu Chunyan at the Gwangju world championships in September 2025. Mijno and Travisani arrived with an established partnership, having won mixed-team gold at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

The federation’s 29 April account reported the new score subject to ratification. This historical report records the measured qualification performance and the pending recognition process as separate facts. It does not treat submission as approval or imply that the qualification total alone established the eventual medal outcome in Rome.
