Italy win second women’s futsal friendly in Hungary
Hungary improved but lost the return match 6-2.

Source publication date:
Italy defeated Hungary 6-2 in the second women’s futsal friendly between the teams in Budapest. Hungary improved on the earlier meeting but remained behind throughout, with coach Tamás Frank assessing a reshaped squad missing six regular players during the camp.
Italy scored in the second minute and established a two-goal lead before Rita Hardon replied. The visitors restored their margin before halftime and made it 4-1 after the break. Bernadett Szabó then finished a counterattack to bring Hungary closer.
Two further Italian goals in the closing stages completed the result. Frank said the second performance was much better and that both matches provided useful experience for newcomers, showing the international standard the players could expect during the approaching European qualifying programme.
