Source publication date:
Yuki Ito won the women’s large hill World Cup in Oslo, ending a victory drought dating to January 2024. Jumps of 127 and 126.5 metres delivered her tenth career win and first podium since February of that same year.
Nozomi Maruyama finished only half a point behind her teammate, completing a Japanese one-two. Anna Odine Stroem took third for her twelfth podium of the season. Overall champion Nika Prevc placed sixth after starting the final round in fifth position.
Maruyama had led after the opening jump but lost crucial landing points on her second attempt. Ito’s victory also confirmed a top-fifteen overall finish, qualifying her for the remaining women’s ski flying competitions in Vikersund and Planica.
