ITTF opens 2026 equipment assistance applications
Member associations can apply by 17 April for equipment packages tailored to their development needs.

The ITTF opened applications for its 2026 Equipment Assistance Programme, inviting all member associations to seek support. The initiative prioritises Category 3 and 4 associations, with applications assessed through governance, development activity and competition plans. The stated deadline was 17 April 2026.
The programme has operated since 1999 and has delivered more than 1,000 tables to 112 associations. Its equipment support addresses access barriers for developing table tennis communities, including grassroots activities, school programmes and national teams that need usable training and competition resources.
In 2025, eighteen associations across Africa, the Americas, Asia and Oceania received assistance. The distribution included 148 tables, 130 surrounds, 1,500 rackets and more than 20,000 balls. Selected 2026 applicants were to receive customised packages reflecting their specific needs.
