Matty Jones named twenty-three players for Wales' European Under-21 Championship qualifiers against Belarus and Denmark. Oliver Bostock, Elliot Myles and Everton defender Aled Thomas received their first call-ups as the team sought to regain momentum in Group I during the March window.

George Nevett, Alex Williams and Evan Watts returned to the squad, while Rhys Thomas was recalled for the first time since June after recovering from injury. Uncapped goalkeepers Kit Margetson and Luke Armstrong joined a group containing Cian Ashford and Charlie Crew.

Wales were scheduled to host Belarus at Rodney Parade before travelling to Vejle for the Denmark match. Both fixtures would be broadcast by Sgorio. The federation noted that the side had entered the qualifying draw from pot four, giving it a demanding route toward the finals.
