Andreas Schmickler won senior singles and shared the men’s doubles title with the Open champion.

Asad Keucheyan won the Elite/Open singles title at Liechtenstein’s national championships in Balzers on 22 March. Michel Schläppi finished second, while Andreas Schmickler and Marco Marxer completed the podium in the main event of the competition programme.

Schmickler took the senior men’s singles title ahead of Keucheyan. Norbert Negele and Emrus Jonuzi shared third place. The two singles winners then combined to claim men’s doubles gold, finishing ahead of Schläppi and Negele in that event.

The championships also awarded several youth titles. Kian Tschütscher won the under-thirteen boys’ competition, Sascha Banzer led the under-fifteen category and Thomas Knobel won under-eighteens. Joanna Büchel topped the girls’ event, with Alina Joss named as runner-up in the federation’s published results.
