Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo won the men’s ten-kilometre classic interval start in Lahti in 23:22.6. The Norwegian finished 22.1 seconds ahead of compatriot Martin Loewstroem Nyenget, adding a distance victory to the sprint success he had achieved the previous day.
Savelii Korostelev placed third for his first World Cup podium after improving his pacing compared with earlier races. Finland’s Arsi Ruuskanen and Iivo Niskanen ended fourth and fifth, leaving the home team just outside the medal positions in the individual competition.
The race also marked Perttu Hyvarinen’s final World Cup appearance. The Finnish skier finished twenty-seventh, with national coach Ville Oksanen describing his contribution to the team both through results and through the atmosphere he helped create among teammates.
