Kristínardóttir Mixa overturns three-game deficit for Icelandic gold
Ingi Darvis Rodriguez won the men’s singles title and completed a three-event sweep.

Sól Kristínardóttir Mixa won Iceland’s women’s singles championship after recovering from 0–3 down in the final. She took the next four games against Guðbjörg Vala Gunnarsdóttir to complete a 4–3 comeback and secure the national title.
Ingi Darvis Rodriguez won men’s singles with a 4–0 final victory over Birgir Ívarsson. Darvis Rodriguez had defeated Davíð Jónsson in the semifinals, while Ívarsson advanced through a match against Benedikt Aron Jóhannsson to reach the championship decider.
Darvis Rodriguez also won men’s doubles with Jóhannsson and mixed doubles with Nevena Tasić, finishing with three titles. Helena Árnadóttir partnered Gunnarsdóttir for women’s doubles gold. Árnadóttir and Tasić also shared the women’s singles bronze medals in the official national results.
