Lamine Yamal received the Aldo Rovira Memorial Award for the 2024–25 season after a panel of journalists selected the Barcelona forward. The club announced the presentation on February 25, confirming that Yamal had won the honour for a second consecutive season.
Members of the Rovira family attended the ceremony and presented the award to the player. The recognition is decided by journalists working across different media outlets.
The award reached its sixteenth edition. Former Barcelona director Josep Lluís Rovira established it in memory of his son Aldo, who died in a motorcycle accident in 2009 at the age of 37. Yamal’s selection adds another individual honour to his Barcelona career.
