Lamparter wins Oslo Nordic combined finale
The Oftebro brothers completed the race and season podiums behind the Austrian champion.

Johannes Lamparter won the final men’s Nordic Combined World Cup in Oslo, adding a sixth season victory to his second overall title. A 136-metre jump gave the Austrian a forty-eight-second head start over Jens Luraas Oftebro for the ten-kilometre cross-country race on the closing programme.
Oftebro reduced the deficit across the opening three laps but finished 31.9 seconds behind. His brother Einar beat Ilkka Herola in the contest for third, making the pair the first siblings to finish together among the leading three in the overall World Cup standings.
Otto Niittykoski achieved a career-best fifth place. Johannes Rydzek, Espen Andersen, Akito Watabe and Alessandro Pittin concluded their World Cup careers as the season ended at Holmenkollen.
