Leeds United moved nine points above the Premier League relegation zone by beating Nottingham Forest 3-1 at Elland Road. The clubs had started the evening level on points and goal difference, making the result especially valuable in the survival contest.

Jayden Bogle and Noah Okafor scored within four first-half minutes to give Leeds control. Bogle capitalised on Ilia Gruev’s pass before Okafor finished from close range, ending his sixteen-game goal drought. Dominic Calvert-Lewin added the third with a chest finish.

Substitute Lorenzo Lucca headed in a late consolation on his Forest debut. Calvert-Lewin reached ten league goals for the season, while the defeat ended Forest’s four-match unbeaten sequence in the competition.
