Lillehammer’s Nordic Combined Continental Cup brought together thirty-five women and fifty-eight men for two days of Gundersen competition. Ida Marie Hagen won Saturday’s women’s event ahead of Alexa Brabec and Marte Leinan Lund, with Lund winning Sunday’s race.

Lund came from eighth after jumping to beat Ema Volavšek by 4.2 seconds, while Claudia Purker finished third. Saturday’s men’s race went to David Mach, who beat Kasper Moen Flatla by half a second in a tight sprint finish.

Flatla won the following men’s competition from the front, ahead of Iacopo Bortolas and Florian Kolb. The racing also tested the Lillehammer venue before it hosted the upcoming junior world championships, with competitors facing icy conditions throughout the programme.
