Lillo and Prosvirnina win Spanish singles titles
Tarragona’s championships also brought a doubles trophy for men’s champion Diego Lillo.

Diego Lillo and Natalya Prosvirnina won the singles titles at the Spanish Championships in Tarragona. The finals of the 81st edition were played on 18 February at Palau d’Esports Catalunya, with the city hosting the event for a third consecutive year.
Lillo defeated brother Alberto in a final that went to a deciding game after several match points passed. He also won men’s doubles with Rafael de las Heras, completing a two-title day at the national competition.
Prosvirnina defeated Eugenia Sastre for her second Spanish senior singles crown. Camila Renata Moscoso and Maria Berzosa won women’s doubles, while Renata Shypsha and Alvaro Gimeno secured the mixed doubles title in the championship programme.
