The Linz Open announced a field featuring ten top-forty players and three former champions for 6–12 April. Ekaterina Alexandrova and Jelena Ostapenko headed the indoor clay WTA 500 entry list, with Karolina Pliskova using a special ranking to enter the main draw.

Alexandra Eala and Emma Navarro were scheduled to make tournament debuts. Other entrants included Clara Tauson, Liudmila Samsonova, Emma Raducanu and previous finalist Dayana Yastremska, alongside recent tournament winners Sorana Cirstea and Sara Bejlek in a competitive Austrian field.

Design Center Linz was to host twenty-eight singles players and sixteen doubles teams. The singles field included nineteen direct entries, four wildcards, four qualifiers and one special exempt place. Announced prize money totalled 1,206,446 dollars, more than 140,000 dollars above the previous edition.
