Lions appoint Nike for inaugural women’s tour
Nike becomes kit supplier and principal partner for the 2027 New Zealand tour.

The British and Irish Lions announced Nike as official kit supplier and principal partner for their inaugural women’s tour. The agreement covers performance, training and leisure clothing for the touring party travelling to New Zealand in 2027.
Supporter ranges were scheduled to appear during 2026, followed by the match jersey in 2027. Royal London will feature on the front of that jersey. Nike’s previous Lions association was the men’s 1993 tour, which also took place in New Zealand.
The announcement forms part of the preparations for the first women’s Lions expedition. It also places Nike alongside the existing partner programme, including the Howden-supported Origins Clubs and Schools initiative, as the organisation builds the commercial and participation framework around its new team.
