Real Madrid advanced to the Champions League round of sixteen after defeating Benfica 2-1 at the Bernabeu. The home side recovered from Rafa Silva’s early goal, with Aurelien Tchouameni equalising quickly and Vinicius Junior scoring the winner in the eightieth minute.
