Source publication date:
Maithe López joined Colombia’s senior women’s squad during its SheBelieves Cup programme in the United States. The player arrived directly from Paraguay, where she had been participating in the South American Women’s Under-20 Championship, adding another option to the senior attacking group.
Colombia completed a field training session while adjusting physical and tactical details ahead of their second tournament match. The federation said López’s arrival broadened the coaching staff’s alternatives as the team prepared to face Argentina during the international window.
The squad was due to travel to Columbus the following morning and train at ScottsMiracle-Gro Field at 5pm. That stadium had been designated for the meeting with Argentina, connecting the camp’s latest personnel addition with the team’s next competitive assignment.
