Regional federation president Fabio Romagnoli said membership stood at approximately 8,000. He highlighted upgrades to outdoor facilities across six towns, including Falconara, Ascoli Piceno and Macerata, alongside continued expansion of Ancona’s PalaCasali indoor venue.
Two of four new Marche projects financed through the Sport e Periferie programme concern athletics tracks, at Porto Recanati and Castel di Lama. Olympic hammer finalist Clarissa Claretti attended the ceremony, while FIDAL president Stefano Mei sent a video message to the regional celebration.
