Marshall reaches Vancouver semifinals with another seeded upset
The English player defeated Madeleine Hylland in a five-game quarterfinal.

Kiera Marshall defeated seventh seed Madeleine Hylland 11–9, 5–11, 11–6, 4–11, 11–7 to reach the Richardson Wealth Women’s Open semifinals. The fifty-five-minute Vancouver quarterfinal followed her previous-round victory over third seed Nicole Bunyan and extended an impressive Canadian tournament run.
Marshall regained the lead in the third game but had to respond again after Hylland took the fourth. She won the deciding game 11–7 to secure a place among the tournament’s final four against top seed Georgia Adderley.
The other quarterfinals ended in straight games. Menna Walid defeated Helen Tang in twenty-two minutes, Nardine Garas beat Toby Tse in twenty-one minutes, and Adderley overcame Jana Swaify in forty-five minutes. Those results completed the semifinal field at the Copper-level event.
