Merida introduces 500-point stop before Indoor World Series finale
The new Mexican tournament announced 307 archers from 13 countries for its February competition.

Merida prepared to host the penultimate Indoor World Series tournament, offering 500 ranking points before the season finale in Las Vegas. The new circuit stop at Yucatán Siglo XXI Convention Center announced 307 competitors from 13 countries for 13–15 February.
Compound world number ones Mathias Fullerton and Andrea Becerra were among the entries. Mike Schloesser, Ajay Scott and Ella Gibson also featured, while Matias Grande, Nicholas D’Amour, Victoria Sebastian and Angela Ruiz were highlighted in the recurve fields.
The competition used the series’ new format, with qualifying and eliminations on Saturday followed by youth and elite finals on Sunday. The event presented contenders with an opportunity to improve their ranking positions before the higher-value March finale.
