Miki and Bormolini win Krynica snowboard parallel races
Both winners moved ahead in the championship contests after the Olympic break.

Tsubaki Miki and Maurizio Bormolini won the Snowboard Alpine World Cup parallel giant slalom races in Krynica. Miki earned her third victory of the season and third at the Polish venue, beating Olympic champion Zuzana Maděrová in the women’s final.
Maděrová missed a gate near the finish and settled for second. Ramona Theresia Hofmeister won the small final against Elisa Caffont to take third, adding a fifth podium of the campaign and sixty-third of her career.
Bormolini defeated Lee Sangho in the men’s final for his third season win and fifth podium. Both Miki and Bormolini strengthened their positions at the top of the parallel giant slalom and overall standings as the World Cup resumed after Milano Cortina.
