Monfardini completes treble at Italian national championships
Matteo Mutti also won his first singles title in Terni.

Gaia Monfardini won her first Italian national singles championship and completed a three-title campaign in Terni. She defeated Nikoleta Stefanova 4–2 in the women’s final, denying Stefanova a twelfth crown. Monfardini had recovered from two games down against Nicole Arlia in the semifinals.
Matteo Mutti won his first men’s singles title by beating defending champion John Oyebode 4–1. Mutti’s success came in his second career national final, following defeat to his brother Leonardo in 2019. Mihai Bobocica and Marco Cappuccio shared the bronze medals.
Monfardini won women’s doubles with her mother Tan Wenling and mixed doubles alongside Oyebode. Carlo Rossi and Oyebode retained men’s doubles by defeating Andrea Puppo and Mutti 3–1. The championships took place at the PalaTennistavolo Aldo De Santis.
